Does anyone remember my Dad. He was brought up at Bovingdon 1938 - 1947. Called up to National Service in 1956 Scots Greys, but transferred to 17 21st asap. Served 1956(7) -63 in Padderborne and Hong Kong (plus others, Bourneo?). Married my mother, Ruth, (English - her dad worked at Castle Peak Hospital) 1962 at Sekong at the Garrison Church. Best man Nick (surname?). Lived in MQ flats at Sekong until Regiment transferred to Germany (1962/3?) then resigned and went on to work at MVEE...

Reunion in Cleethorpes

This apparently is going to happen in the Royal Navy Club.
I have no idea what branch is organizing this and was wondering if anyone had any information on this reunion.

Did anybody from the 17/21st Lancers attend the ride to the wall yesterday? I was there but didn't see any familiar faces. What I did manage to find were the names of Terry Williams and Jock Gibbons who were killed in 1973. If there are any ex members who are out there and they would like to get in touch,please feel free to do so.

iwas informed he is in derby hospital and doing fine responding to treatment.
